ABOUT TAMU CADATHON / EST. 2026
Who we are.
We’re a group of Texas A&M engineering students who wanted a dedicated space to compete in CAD, work in teams, and create something lasting on campus.
THE BUILD LOG / 2021—2027
A growing community, not just an event.
February 2026 — Texas A&M’s first dedicated CADathon, sketched between classes and late-night brainstorming.
Spring 2026 — Hackathon executives and engineering org leaders help ideate what CADathon could look like on campus.
Summer 2026 — Locking in the name, building the site, and laying the administrative groundwork for the fall semester.
Fall 2026 — Team members are recruited, outreach ramps up, and we begin partnering with companies to fund and shape our first-year program.
Spring 2027 — TAMU CADathon launches: workshops, events, and our flagship CAD competition give students a dedicated home for design on campus.
